The V Drop is my solution. 1 board for everything, Surf trips in pumping surf, your daily driver, a two hour session at a wave pool, itโs knee high and firing on a down day at homeโฆ
A ridiculously fun user friendly twin fin shape that bridges the gap between traditional shortboard and MidLength.
Designed to excel in small waves and when itโs pumping.
A fuller nose to maximize paddle power, but narrower overall than a traditional MidLength shape so that thereโs less swing weight.
A magical bottom contour with subtle nose concave to help give it more lift, into an aggressive Vee bottom the helps with rail to rail transitions, trim, and glide.

Featuring a pulled in round tail behind the twins so that it holds in overhead waves yet turns on a dime.

Volume is maximized up under the chest for added paddle power, but with low volume high performance thinned out rails like a traditional shortboard. Best ridden a few inches longer than your go to shortboard, (the added length puts more rail in the water which increases lift and drive).
The volume on these would be comparable to your go to groveler with a suggested volume increase of 2-4 liters.

Iโm 6โ2, 205lbs. My traditional shortboard is 6โ3 at 38.5L. My favorite grovelers the Mighty Mini Simmons and Vee Fish are 40-41L)
